Tickets are selling at a brisk pace for the International Game Fish Association Fishing Hall of Fame on Tuesday, October 26 where five men -- from the United States, Japan and Britain, all who have made significant contributions to the sport of recreational fishing -- will be inducted that evening as the 12th class.

They include Yoshiro Hattori of Japan, John Wilson from England, and Capt. Steve Huff, George G. Matthews, and Forrest Wood all from the U.S.

The honorees are selected each year for their significant contributions through achievements in angling, literature, the arts, science, education, invention, communications or administration of fishery resources.

Presently 80 Hall of Fame members are enshrined at the IGFA including Ernest Hemingway, Zane Grey, Curt Gowdy, Ted Williams, Stu Apte, Lee and Joan Wulff, Michael and Helen Lerner, Philip Wylie, Johnny Morris, Bill Dance, Roland Martin, and Don Tyson.

Tickets are $200 and include the cocktail reception and silent auction beginning at 6 p.m., with dinner and the induction ceremony in the Greats Hall beginning at 7:30 p.m.
