Hell's Bay Boatworks will also hold Flats Class TV premiere party in Tampa Bay area

_ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -_- One of the most respected instructors, inshore guides and TV hosts in the South, Capt. C.A. Richardson, begins his sixth season of his educational and award-winning Flats Class TV fishing show to be seen throughout 2012 on three cable networks.

The first of 13 episodes begins airing on The Sportsman Channel, Monday, March 26 at 9:30 a.m. as part of an eight-hour fishing block, with more airings on Saturdays and Sundays. Additional cablecasts will also be on Sun Sports HD and WFN, the World Fishing Network.

The series is presented by Titusville, Fla., flats skiff builder Hell’s Bay Boatworks, where Richardson is an active pro staff member and spokesperson.

“This season we’ll be teaching viewers the important ‘how-to’s’ of fishing our popular inshore estuaries dotting the coastlines of the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic with some of the sport’s best light tackle experts,” said Richardson. “On our premiere cablecast we’re sight-fishing the Indian River Lagoon system near Titusville. Capt. Todd Fuller is the special guest host/instructor who is also the GM at Hell’s Bay. Todd shares some of his top shallow water strategies for targeting ultra skinny water reds plus a few helpful poling tips. We even stop by the plant and take a quick look around at what’s new in 2012.”

Other series’ venues include the Keys, Biscayne Bay, 10,000 Islands and Louisiana.

“C.A. has a huge fan base not only through millions of viewers of his cable shows, his Flat Class Version 2.0 fishing classes, and his informative website but through his accessibility at seminars and speaking engagements,” said Fuller. “He’s a well liked speaker drawing positive attention to the organizations, causes and companies he represents.

“We were impressed with C.A.’s appeal and his knowledge in answering questions from visitors in our exhibits at the recent Ft. Lauderdale and Miami boat shows,” said Fuller. “He envelops an energy and excitement for this sport while educating anglers on so many levels. Plus his fishing ethics, conservation views and stewardship make him an ideal representative supporting Hell’s Bay’s philosophy.

“C.A. uses his Neptune model Hell’s Bay in his Flats Class TV programming,” added Fuller, “and he also has other models of Hell’s Bay in the ready depending on the specific focus of the show and the type of fishing waters where he’ll be taping at his disposal.”
