The Marine Industry CSI Awards program honors participating manufacturers that actively measure customer satisfaction

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) recognized Grady-White Boats with its 2012 Marine Industry CSI Award in the category of fiberglass boats for the period April 2011 through March 2012. This is the eleventh year in a row that Grady-White has been recognized for excellence in customer satisfaction as part of NMMA’s Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) program.

Award recipients will be acknowledged during the annual Industry Breakfast at the 2012 International Boat Builders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) in Louisville, Kentucky October 2-4, 2012.

“We are proud and flattered to once again be recognized for excellence in customer satisfaction by the NMMA with this eleventh CSI award,” said Shelley Tubaugh, vice president of market research and relationship development at Grady-White Boats. “Grady-White Boats and Grady-White dealers believe that all our hard work in achieving top measurements of the very highest levels of customer satisfaction is an important indication that we are reaching our goal of providing our customers with Grady-White’s ultimate boating experience.”

The Marine Industry CSI Awards program honors participating manufacturers that actively measure customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement to better serve the customer. Award recipients achieved and maintained an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past year, based on information provided by customers purchasing a new boat or engine during the period between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012.

“It is an honor to recognize Grady-White for its outstanding focus on the creation of quality products and an enjoyable customer experience,” notes Terry Leitz, NMMA’s director of CSI programs. “Recipients of the CSI Awards are leading the recreational boating industry forward by ensuring feedback from their customers is an integral part of their planning and manufacturing functions.”

Grady-White continues an unbroken string of recognitions for customer satisfaction with this latest NMMA award. Historically, the company has been ranked at the top in every third party study of customer satisfaction ever conducted in the marine industry, including studies by NMMA and J. D. Power and Associates.
