Simrad Helm-Planning Kit

simrad helm

Simrad's Helm-Planning Kit eliminates guesswork and allows the user to design the ideal electronics layout before the first hole is drilled in the helm console or nav station. Rather than indicating only the size of a particular unit, the templates in the kit allow the user to see the positioning of buttons, keypads and displays. Boat owners can select the right products to fit their helm or nav station and their electronics needs. Simrad cautions that users of the helm-planning kit should use the Simrad precision templates, which come with each product, when cutting the holes to mount electronics. The helm-planning kit sells for $20. Simrad, Lynnwood, WA; (425) 778-8821; www.simrad.com.
