The Simrad 44 series of chart plotters, fishfinders and combination units use a new, more powerful microprocessor to reduce chart redraw times to less than two seconds and active navigation chart redraws to under one second. Models in the 44 series include a chart plotter, a fishfinder, a chart plotter/fishfinder, a chart plotter/radar and a chart plotter/fishfinder/radar combination. A new keypad with modified hot-key functions provides easy, intuitive operation. The 44 series uses Simrad's 10.4" sunlight-viewable display and shows all the information on one screen.
