The RadarPC from SI-TEX is a radar sensor designed to feed data directly to a personal computer. Available with a variety of antennae, ranging from a 2kW radome to a 4kW, 4 1/2' open-array, RadarPC provides ranges from 1/8 up to 48 nautical miles. Used in combination with Nobeltec's Visual Navigation Suite software, RadarPC gives the user control of gain, desired range, rain and sea clutter, and other functions, while allowing the radar images to be overlaid on most raster and vector nautical charts. RadarPC also displays position and vessel track when linked to a GPS unit. According to the manufacturer, RadarPC is easy to install and comes with a variety of data connections.
