The SI-TEX ColorMax 6 GPS charting system brings big-boat charting features and performance to almost any boat. The plotter is built around a new fast processor with Intel XScale Architecture for fast screen updates. The 12-channel GPS WAAS receiver consistently gives a position within three meters of a waypoint without a beacon receiver antenna. The ColorMax 6 features a daylight-viewable 6" color active-matrix LCD display with adjustable brightness and contrast for varying conditions. The unit has dual C-MAP NT+ C-Card slots for in-depth charting including depths, bottom types and currents. Soft keys provide multi-functionality and easy use, and an on-screen cursor makes for simple mode selection including various split-screen modes. The plotter handles up to 25 routes with a total of 500 waypoints and 1,000 track plots. The ColorMax 6 has a suggested retail price of $1,299.
