The new 157 VHF from SEA is a high-performance Class D DSC radio that is MariTEL-ready, enabling the user to make telephone calls via the radio. The 157 has a full numeric keypad with all U.S., international, Canadian and weather channels available. It has NOAA Weather Alert and a voice scrambler, too.

There are 6 scan modes, plus a DSC call and address log. With GPS input it will display lat/lon, and the 8-character alphanumeric display features a 3-digit channel display, plus 17 different icons.
