The Northstar 957 Navigator is a chart plotter with a built-in 12-channel WAAS Differential GPS. The 957 uses Navionics chart data in conjunction with features including course-up, instantaneous panning and zooming, and tide information. The waterproof unit has backlit controls and a 10.25" diagonal color LCD that offers split-screen capability and direct-sunlight viewing. The 957 offers a choice of color palette as well as a video-in port. The Navigator stores up to 1,000 waypoints and 500 routes, follows stored routes forward or backward and saves the current position. Options include an echo sounder and handheld remote control.
