Imtra Side-Power Radio Control

Imtra offers a new radio-control unit to operate the company's Side-Power Thrusters remotely. The bridge of a large vessel may not offer the operator the best view for docking and close-quarters maneuvering, and this handheld unit allows the user to maintain control of the thrusters of the vessel while away from the bridge. Safety features include a 50-meter range and a coded output signal to prevent accidental activation, while a blinking light indicates the transmitter is active. Available configurations allow the operation of two thrusters simultaneously or one thruster and one windlass. The radio control transmitter comes with a battery and a receiver with the necessary connectors to upgrade an existing side-power system. The Side-Power Radio Control sells for $595.
