The Electronic Engine Control 2001 (EEC-2001) from Glendinning Marine Products is designed to give fingertip control of throttle and transmission functions. Compatible with all electronically controlled engines, the EEC-2001 offers single- or dual-lever control. The unit provides different modes of operation-slow, bump and high idle-and such features as posi-lock gear lockout and two-button station transfer (the button must be hit twice, preventing accidental transfer of control). The control head also has indicator lights for battery voltage, system diagnostics and gear position. Available in chrome or black powder-coated finish, the two-station systems start at $5,500.
