Garmin GPS 76 and GPSMAP 76

Garmin's new GPS 76 and GPSMAP 76 are WAAS-enabled handheld GPS receivers in waterproof cases. Each unit has a high-resolution, 1.6" by 2.2" display and built-in quad helix antenna. The GPS 76 has one megabyte of internal memory and comes with a database of nautical navaids and tide data. The GPSMAP 76 has eight megabytes of internal memory and comes with a built-in basemap of major cities, coastlines, navaids, tide data and more. Both are compatible with the manufacturer's MapSource CD-ROMs, store up to 500 waypoints and operate for 16 hours on two AA batteries.
