Furuno NavNet Radar/Chart Plotters

furuno_navnet.jpg

Furuno’s NavNet series of radar/chart plotters, including the 1833C, 1933C and the 1943C, are designed to suit a variety of vessels as part of Furuno’s NavNet Ethernet-networked electronics. NavNet is component-based, so additional sounders, GPS units and remote displays can be added to the network through a single cable. These units all display true color radar images on a 10.4-inch, high-resolution color LCD – colors indicate echo strength and eliminate guesswork. Standard features include electronic bearing line, an electronic variable range marker, echo trails, target zoom and watch modes. When connected to proper sensors, the radars display images in head-up, course-up, north-up or true motion. The series comes with two- to four-foot antennae, with ranges from 36 to 64 nautical miles. Housed in rugged, waterproof cases, the units also have a full-featured chart plotter that can be displayed full-screen, split-screen with the radar, or with radar overlay. The integrated chart plotter stores up to 8,000 track points, 1,000 waypoints and 200 planned routes. Suggested retail prices for the series start at $6,195.
