RIO Saltwater Leaders

If you don’t love tying your own leaders each time you head out for a day on the water, pre-tied leaders are incredibly practical. RIO is introducing two new saltwater leaders. Both the Redfish/Seatrout leader and the Light Saltwater Shock leader feature a perfection loop for ease of rigging, as well as a stiff butt and taper design, making it easy to roll big flies over. The 9-foot Redfish/Seatrout leader is a clear abrasion-resistant leader available from 8-pound-test to 20-pound-test. The Light Saltwater Shock leader is a 10-foot leader that tapers from 16-pound-class tippet to an ultra-tough fluorocarbon shock tippet (available in 16-, 20- and 45-pound).
