Quantum recently expanded its popular Smoke series to include the saltwater-ready Smoke Inshore spinning reels. Available in sizes 25, 30, 40 and 50, the Smoke features Quantum’s Saltguard 2.0, a special-coated alloy meant to stop corrosion in its tracks, paired with a watertight clutch and drag system. The nickel-titanium bail wire comes with a lifetime warranty for worry-free fishing, and the reel features a super-light, super-strong carbon-fiber rotor. Quantum really trims the fat to save weight, with the 25 size coming in at only 7.5 ounces. All that and good looks too.
