Accurate’s TwinDrags have developed quite a reputation among offshore anglers looking for an indestructible compact reel, and it builds that same quality into its very first single-drag model: the Boss Fury. These reels — the most affordable in Accurate’s lineup — are built with billet aircraft aluminum and stainless-steel gearing, and are lightweight and easy to handle. The Boss Fury is available in 400, 500 and 600 sizes, with single-speed models offering a 4.1:1 or 6.1:1 gear ratio, and two-speeds offering 3.1:1 low/6.1:1 high or 2.2:1 low/5.1:1 high ratios. The 600 holds 450 yards of 65-pound braid.
