ACR Electronics’ new ResQLink lays claim to being the smallest personal locator beacon in the world. Although initially designed for land use, PLBs have increasingly claimed a valid share of the marine rescue-equipment market, as they can accompany every person on board and are not dependent on registration to a vessel.
