A Fly Angler Earns His Stripes
Captain harry huelsbeck and jason jordan had already had a great night fishing near the chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel but decided to try one more spot. Persistence paid off when Huelsbeck nabbed a pending fly-rod record striped bass on 20-pound tippet. The bass weighed 43 pounds, 12 ounces""more than seven pounds heavier than the current record. Despite their "one more spot" plan, after the cow Huelsbeck said, "we kept on fishing."
