On October 7th, 2006, Hydroglow held the Second Annual Swordfish Tournament out of Port Everglades.¿ My husband, JD Ryer, and I fished on our 27 Contender, “Island Style”¿, along with good friends Shredder Faulk and Ralph Turner.¿ Lines were in at 7pm and after waiting several hours, I finally hooked up.¿ I fought this beauty for an hour and 5 minutes and finally got him in the boat.¿ I caught him using stand up gear on an 80 Tiagra.¿ At the weigh in, he ended up going 63 1/4 inches and 124lbs.¿
