A: I have fished several times at El Pescador lodge, but always from a boat. The ocean side of Ambergris has mostly a hard sand or marl bottom. There may be bonefish on it, but if the breeze is up, it may be too rough for fishing. I suggest e-mailing the lodge and asking if there are any do-it-yourself options.
