Costa Grand Isle Sunglasses

The lens technology blocks yellow light at 580 nanometers on the light spectrum, providing excellent visual clarity

Costa’s new Grand Isle sunglasses feature lightweight metal frames that retain the performance fit made famous by Costa’s nylon frames. The square-shaped Grand Isles have co-molded Hydrolite temple technology and adjustable nose pads for maximum comfort. The frame comes in gunmetal and the new antique-gold color, and you can order the glasses with Costa’s innovative new 580P lens, a super-lightweight yet highly impact-resistant plastic lens. The lens technology blocks yellow light at 580 nanometers on the light spectrum, providing excellent visual clarity and polarization efficiency and extremely sharp color enhancement. The 580P lens also features C-Wall, a specialized coating to make it virtually as scratch resistant as glass while repelling water, oil and dust. 580P lens colors include gray, copper and amber, and mirrored options are available with the 580 glass lens. $179 to $299; www.costadelmar.com
