Navionics has compiled offshore bathymetric charts and selected inshore bathymetry from popular locations to launch its new Fish 'N Chip. The new software, which comes on an SD card, features the entire East Coast, plus the Gulf region and the Pacific. Inshore bathymetry is available for estuarine areas such as Sandy Hook, Cape Cod and Biscayne Bay; maps will display contours in 1-foot increments from the low-tide line out to 20 or 30 feet. Fish icons indicate offshore hot spots labeled by Navionics' pro staff. Fish 'N Chip is available for all plotters except Garmin and includes major navigational buoys, tides and currents.
