Case in Point

case_point.jpg

I did not like to keep all of my expensive electronics aboard my boat, but I also did not want to risk damaging them in transit in the back of my pickup truck every time I wanted to go fishing. To transport my VHF radio, GPS, fishfinder, camera and binoculars, I bought an old hard-sided suitcase at a yard sale for $2. I glued a 4″ thick piece of foam rubber in the bottom of the suitcase and a 1″ thick piece in the top. Then I traced the outline of everything I wanted to protect on the foam with a laundry marker. I cut out the holes with a serrated knife, being careful not to go all the way through the foam. Now all my fragile electronics travel in style!
