The all-new Surfhunter 33 from Hunt Yachts follows the popular 25- and 29-foot models released over the past two years. Designed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates, the standard 33 will be powered by a 315-hp Yanmar diesel, driving a five-blade propeller placed in a hull tunnel to minimize draft and permit beaching. Larger engines will also be available and a bowthruster will afford easy docking.

Considerable effort has been made to reduce sound levels, including a special muffler and the use of sound-deadening materials. A precisely fitted engine room enclosure helps to reduce helmdeck noise.
Belowdecks, the living area is finished with yacht-grade satin-finish cherry wood and features a V-berth forward, a convertible dinette, a head with shower and a full galley.
The Surfhunter 33 may be customized extensively at the factory to create a boat personalized to the needs of the owner.
