Fish from the open deck of the SeaVee 290, and store the catch beneath.

The new 290 from SeaVee has an all-new hull design that makes it a roomy, stable fishing platform. The boat uses the same construction process as the larger 310 and features a PVC-cored, vacuum-bagged hull that is strong, stiff and light. The 25-degree transom deadrise combines with the strength and weight to give the 290 a great ride and performance that will provide serious fishing opportunities.

Anglers will appreciate such fishing features as a 50-gallon above-deck live well and an extra large in-deck fishbox in the center of the forward cockpit. SeaVee offers an optional 90-gallon well in the rear cockpit sole, while an additional upgrade of a rear compartment with a second fishbox adds more capacity.

Tournament fishermen will like the efficient and ergonomic console. An interior liner hides wiring yet offers easy access to electronics and batteries. Hatch lids are two-piece molded and finished on both sides.

Trim tabs, a ten-year transferable hull warranty, an integrated transom bracket with tuna door and a bait-prep station and stowage for as many as 23 fishing rods are all standard features. SeaVee Boats; (305) 759-6419; www.seaveeboats.com
