Palmer 260 Defiance

The new Palmer 260 Defiance has a 22-degree deadrise, defined running strakes and bow flare. Palmer Marine calls their innovative hull design "Stable-Trak," which is said to enhance the overall performance of the boat - specifically with quicker plane time, better turning performance at speed and greater stability.

As do all Palmer models, the 260 Defiance comes with a non-skid walk-around foredeck that allows access to the bow area of the boat.

Length 25' 10"
Beam 8' 6"
Draft 18"
Displacement 5,500 lbs.
Max HP 400 hp
Circle 245 on Reader Service Card.

The enclosed helm deck has a dinette lounge along the port side. The helm is forward on the starboard side, and directly aft of the helm is a countertop with a built-in sink. With large bins and under-seat storage, there is plenty of room for gear.

Rigged with either a single 300-hp outboard or twin 200-hp outboards, the Palmer 260 Defiance provides cover from the weather to extend the fishing season. Palmer Marine; Port Orchard, WA; (360) 674-7090; www.palmermarine.com
