The new 31 from Jupiter features diesel power as an option on either the center console or cuddy version. Configured with a Yanmar 6LPAM rated at 315 hp, coupled to a Mercruiser Bravo III sterndrive, the 31 tops out at 44 mph and cruises at 31 mph while consuming 7.5 gallons per hour. Range is 650 miles with standard fuel, and 1,100 miles with optional tanks. Currently, the diesel option is available in single-engine installation, with dual-engine installation available in the near future.
Among the standard fishing features on the 31 Center Console is an 80-gallon live well, a 116-gallon insulated fishbox, fresh- and raw-water washdowns, a bait-rigging station, plenty of rod storage, molded inner liners on storage areas and a lockable electronics compartment.
