New Boats: Dyer 29 Center Console

dyer_29.jpg

The new Dyer 29 Center Console will appeal to anglers with a flair for tradition. Based on the 1955 Nick Potter-designed hull, long revered for its outstanding seakeeping abilities, the new model combines the classic, graceful lines of an old-time New England bass boat with a fishing-friendly center-console layout. The semi-displacement, fiberglass hull easily slices big seas and offers a gentle, dry and stable ride. Features include a roomy cockpit with bolstered coaming and optional teak sole, a leaning post with integrated rod holders and live well, gunwale-mounted rod holders, under-gunwale rod racks, raw-water washdown and aluminum T-top. The molded console has plenty of space for electronics, while the forward day cabin offers lots of room for storage and optional Vacu-flush head.
