New Boats for 2009

Check out these hot new rides coming soon to a boat show near you.

Mako 18 LTS

After a long hiatus, Mako Marine introduces a new light-tackle skiff for the 2009 model year. With a deeply ventilated stepped hull and an integrated transom knee for rigidity, this bottom was designed to pop on plane quickly with minimal horsepower and bow rise. Factory tests show it only needs 24 inches of water to plane with a fixed engine height. The center console is equipped with an 18-gallon livewell. There's also storage for 10 rods: six in the console racks and four under the forward deck. Dry storage is available in four watertight compartments. The hull and deck assembly are completely bonded, lined and pressure-foam filled. The console and hatches are close-molded, and all hardware is stainless steel. This skiff is custom-matched with a low-profile trailer for convenient towing. It is available in white gelcoat with blueberryaccents. Mako Marine ? 417.873.4555 ? www.mako-boats.com
