Luhrs 41 Open

nb_luhrs_220x158.jpg

Based on the hull of the popular 41 Convertible, the 41 Open from Luhrs has the same Carolina-style flared bow and classy tumblehome at the transom. The raised helm of the 41 Open provides visibility from the helm chair through a large, paneled windshield with a watertight seal to the hardtop. The helm pod is equipped with electronic controls and a sizable dash for electronics. The entire helm lifts for easy service access. To port is seating for two with a backrest that flips forward for bait-watching. A spacious L-shaped lounge with rod storage beneath is to port while the starboard bridge deck has additional seating that can be turned into an optional bait-prep station or a summer galley with electric grill and refrigerator-freezer.

The 41 Open features a 100-square-foot cockpit with a 50-gallon live well in the transom and a molded bait-prep station with tackle drawers, sink and water faucet. Two 45-gallon in-deck fishboxes with macerators and four gunwale-mount rod holders round out the cockpit fishing amenities. There is six feet, four inches of headroom belowdecks and a dinette seating area for six people with storage for seven rods behind the seat back. The dinette also electrically slides out to a double berth. The forward stateroom has a queen-sized island berth with storage underneath, two cedar-lined hanging lockers and separate air-conditioning control. A full galley and head round out the cabin area.
