Invincible 33

Invincible’s newest and smallest center console comes packed with serious fishing features.

The console is appropriately sized with a nicely organized helm, with the centerline wheel and the binnacle to starboard alongside two drink holders. The electronics mount flush in the dash with a pullout Plexiglas cover. Waterproof, rocker-style switches sit beneath the helm for easy access. The front of the console has a cushioned seat and lifts up to afford access to the fully lined console interior, which can house a head and contains the electrical-distribution breaker panel. A large hatch gives access to the underside of the console.

Our test boat had a great leaning-post tackle center with a pullout Frigid Rigid custom cooler, tackle storage, four rod holders and three drink holders. It offered plenty of room for two people to sit comfortably on its seat, and an occasional third could squeeze in when leaning against it. Again, this is a clean, functional fishing-focused piece of gear on the boat.

A deep anchor locker lies forward, with a molded rack to hold a Danforth-style anchor. A flush-mounted stainless-steel pull-up cleat and a wraparound recessed handrail come mounted on the forward deck, and coaming pads protect your knees. A cavernous, insulated storage compartment sits in-deck on the centerline with two insulated fish boxes outboard, just aft of the in-deck compartment yet forward of the console. Aft of the leaning post, two in-deck insulated fish boxes with macerators sit outboard of the stringers. There is a large hatch offering great access to the lazarette and its bilge pumps and livewell sump-pump box.

The 33 features two large livewells, one located in-deck on the centerline forward of the lazarette and another in the transom, totaling 95 gallons. These livewells are fed by the sump-pump-box system that gets its water from stainless high-speed pickups on the transom, another integrated feature that helps make a day’s fishing pleasant and successful.

With its solid construction, notable ride, functional fishing features and sleek good looks, the Invincible 33 fits perfectly with its 36- and 42-foot siblings. When speed, ride and fishability really matter, there are few 30- to 34-foot center consoles that can compete without compromise, and the Invincible 33 is undoubtedly on that short list.
