Grady White Chase 273

grady_white_chase_273.jpg

Grady-White’s new Chase 273 is built on the same proven hull as its 27-foot Sailfish model, but features an all-new center console layout for maximum fishing room. The bow has a large seating area that can accommodate optional cushions and bolsters, and there’s a pair of 104-quart insulated fishboxes beneath the seats that can also be used as dry-storage areas.

A walk-through area between the seats provides a level walkway from bow to stern, but you can also order an optional insert that turns the whole bow area into a level casting deck. The console contains a head compartment that features a deep sink with a standard fresh water system, and the entire area is ventilated. The helm area has Grady’s innovative electromechanically controlled electronics enclosure for security and easy viewing. The 273 can be ordered with an optional T-top with rod holders, spreader lights and net storage.

The 65-square-foot cockpit features a 32-gallon live well with an 1,100 gph pump, and a water-supply grate that spreads the water evenly throughout the well. A 185-quart insulated fishbox is standard, and there is lockable rod storage in the gunwales for either conventional or fly tackle.
