Bombardier's new Fish Hawk 220 BF is built with all-com-posite construction and hand-laid fiberglass lamination. The fiberglass box stringer system is filled with foam for strength, flotation and sound-deadening qualities, and a premium gelcoat finish over pre-cut bi-axial fabric and woven roving provides a tough, high-quality finish.
Power options include 150 or 175 hp outboards from Johnson, or 150, 175 or 200 hp FICHT Ram Injection Evinrudes. The boat's self-bailing cockpit features oversized scuppers to drain water quickly, and molded racks that store rods securely beneath each gunwale. The flip-back helm seat has a built-in 68-quart cooler, and there's a 15-gallon live well beneath the forward console seat.
The boat has stainless-steel pop-up cleats and rod holders. All through-hull fittings are bronze, and a raw-water washdown system comes standard. The 52-quart forward fishbox is insulated, features a reinforced hatch and drains overboard. There's also considerable dry storage forward and two jump seats aft for passengers. The console features vertical rod storage, a stainless steering wheel, tackle/storage drawers and a windshield with a grab rail. Fish Hawk, Grant, FL; (321) 722-4000; www.bombardier.com.
