Avid 24 Sea Skiff

Styled after the famous Cuttyhunk Bass Boat and the Surf Hunter of the 1950s and '60s, the new Avid 24 Sea Skiff is designed with a shallow draft and full keel for serious inshore fishing and the trademark second stern steering station with tiller. It features a high, flared bow, molded spray rails, and a graceful sheerline that sweeps down to a tumblehome transom. The large 100-square-foot cockpit provides plenty of fishing room, and the helm and companion seats are engineered into the engine box, providing wide side walkways. There's protected storage for eight rods up to 9', and a forward cabin provides storage and houses a portable head. Available options include canvas top, teak sole and a full electronics package.

The Avid 24 is built with modern, high-tech materials, and standard power is a 200-hp Yanmar inboard diesel, which provides a 24-knot cruise and a top speed of 28. A 125-hp Yanmar is available as an option.
