Texas Offshore Fishing Semianr with ROFFS and FISHNTEXAS

Free to the public at Bass Pro Shops in San Antonio and Houston

The internationally famous fisheries oceanographer, Mitchell A. Roffer (Ph.D.) from Roffer's Ocean Fishing Forecasting Service, Inc (Melbourne, Florida) will be touring the state of Texas Bass Pro Shops the last week of February, 2009. Dr. Roffer, who is also under contract to NASA to work with NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service, will be presenting seminars entitled "The effects of ocean conditions on dolphin, billfish, Wahoo, tuna, and kingfish." These seminars will provide the local angler with a better understanding of how the changing ocean environment effects the daily distribution, movements and catchability of the fish in Texas waters. The lessons learned can easily be used to increase one's catch, reduce search time and save fuel expenses. Roffer, earned his doctorate from the renowned University of Miami Rosenstiel School for Marine and Atmospheric Sciences (Miami, FL) in Biological Oceanography with an emphasis in Fisheries Oceanography and started ROFFS? (see in 1987. He leads a group of experience satellite oceanographers that provide daily fishing forecasts to anglers worldwide. ROFFS? clients have won more than 4242 tournaments in the last 17 years and have set five World Records, one US Record and 17 State Records while using their fishing oceanographic analyses.

Roffer will be touring with the highly regarded Captain Scott McCune (USCG Master) ) "The Saltwater Cowboy" from Scott will be giving seminars on "How to catch big fish offshore from A-Z."
