Wow! Awesome weather and awesome fishing. This is my favorite time of year. I arrived at the boat dock this morning, sipping on a cup of hot coffee. There was a cool nip in the air. The dolphins were chasing bait around the marina along with a few pelicans. No doubt, it is November. This was our third cold front this year and I just had a feeling that today was the day for the big bull redfish to show near the beaches. We departed at 7:30am and less than an hour, it was on. Birds were diving, bait was popping and fish were on the surface. Within seconds the rods were bending and the reels were singing. We hooked and released several big bull redfish weighing from 16 to 25 pounds. Many of these big fish were caught on light spinning tackle. This is an absolute blast to hook into these big reds on light tackle. Come enjoy this great action on the Getaway out of Orange Beach, Alabama. All you need is a 4, 5 or 6 hour fishing charter to target these big redfish.
