Sheepshead

.Early Spring

The waters are slowly warming to temps over 50′ for the first time since December. The Sheepshead are starting to feed again inshore. We have run several trips lately and are catching fish up to 6 lbs around docks using fiddler crabs for bait. There are a lot of fish still inshore that have not moved out to spawn. The docks with deeper water seem to be the best but as the waters warm, they should be on some of the old habitats as well in shallower water.
