Late Winter Redfishing in Charleston,SC

Fly/Spin Fishing with Capt Chris Wilson Finadddict Charters

The last couple weeks the weather has been nice and the Redfish Bite has turn on.Fly anglers are still doing well with crabby flies and long leaders and Spin anglers are doing well with soft palstic baits and cut bait such as crabs and fresh mullet fish on the bottom. As long as the water stays clear we should have good Sight fishing for the next few months.water temps are warming and the mullets we be coming back out on the flats and will get the Reds back on a top water bite.with tailing conditions around the corner.

The Speckle Trout bite is still a little slow but should pick back up with the warmer water temps.they can be still caught around deeper creeks on lower stages of tides on DOA ,cals and shrimps work slow right above the oyster beds.Sheep Head are all over the inshore wrecks and jetties using fiddlers crabs and fresh shrimp fish on the bottom.
The Shad run will get crank up to by the end of the month and carrying on till May.they are great acrobatic fighters on Fly/Ultra Light tackle and is a good plan B when its to nasty to fish the Flat or Inshore waters.come see what the Low country has to offer Fly/Spin anglers.
