The 38Th Annual 2010 USVI/Open Atlantic Blue Marlin Tournament aka "BoyScouts" is finished. Capt. Jim and his 38 Bertram the BLACK PEARL won TOP LOCAL BOAT congratulations Team and good going.
The weather was great and the 41 boat fleet caught and released 141 Blue Marlin in the 4 day event. We are now on the back side of the full moon and the bite is still on.
As of early am today Black Pearl had 1 Blue Marlin so far for the day.
We still have a few good days available for charter for the Sept. and Oct. full moons so if you haven't booked your charters yet now is the time. We see that this year the bite and number of Marlin being seen and/or caught is increasing as we go through season, so Sept. & Oct. should have a lot of great fishing ahead in St. Thomas, USVI.
